ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  1. SSSCE Applicants Passes (A-D) in Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science) plus Elective Mathematics and two (2) of the following; Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Engineering Science and Building Construction.
  2. WASSCE Applicants Passes (A1-C6) in Core Subjects (English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science) plus a minimum of (C6) in Elective Mathematics and two (2) of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing, Engineering Science and Building Construction.
  3. GCE “O” and “A” Level Five (5) credits including English Language, Mathematics and two (2) of the following; Additional Modern Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing and Building Construction, as well as two (2) GCE 'A' Level passes in Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry.
  4. HND and Diploma Applicants: Applicants with HND in Civil Engineering (minimum 2nd class Lower) will be admitted to level 300.
  5. Mature Applicants Must be 25 years old with legitimate documentary proof which is at least five (5) years old at the time of application, must pass Mature Students’ Entrance Examinations conducted by KsTU, may have to attend and pass an interview. Evidence of working experience will be an added advantage.   
  6. Foreign Applicants: Academic records of foreign applicants will be referred to GTEC for the determination of qualification equivalence and eligibility for admission as well as placement
