Celebrating Women in Accounting: KsTU’s Diana Fosuaa adjudged the Best Female Graduating Student from ICAG

Ms. Diana Fosuaa, a Chief  Auditing Assistant at Kumasi Technical University (KsTU), has emerged as the Overall Best Female Graduating Candidate during the 39th Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG) Graduation Ceremony held on 10th September, 2022.

Ms. Fosuaa joins the likes of Mrs. Helena Opoku Owusu-Ansah who is rightly celebrated as the first female-chartered accountant in Kumasi Technical University of the non-teaching staff category.

She studied Business Administration specializing in Banking and Finance at the University of Ghana and holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from KNUST.

The passage of time and changes in work policies compelled her to pursue the professional programme. She is full of appreciation to her family for the support during the pursuit of further studies.

Diana has previously worked with Fidelity Bank before joining KsTU where she is currently a key member of staff of the Internal Audit Directorate. Her hard work was acknowledged by members of her Directorate, as she received the award as the Best Internal Auditor for the year 2021.

As a full-time employee, a wife and a mother of two, these achievements seemed beyond reach but determination, hard work, and full resilience have made them possible. Diana says she is looking forward to becoming an excellent professional accountant while making KsTU and her family proud.

During the Ceremony, two other members of staff of the Finance Directorate, Ms. Susana Kraikue and Richmond Asante Boateng were inducted into the Institute.
